The Multi-Purpose Land Carrier (PPT) family aims to have a high loading potential while maintaining good mobility and offering the crew protection adapted to external operations while using the latest communication and command support systems. The PPT will thus ensure the following missions: logistical supplies in theaters of operation, transport or evacuation of personnel in operational condition, maintenance and evacuation of immobilized vehicles, transport of materials for support to mobility, counter-mobility and emergency deployment assistance. The PPT, which will eventually replace the aging fleet of heavy goods vehicles of the army (VTL, TRM10000 in the first place), is available in four versions:
PPLOG: multi-purpose logistics carrier equipped with a loading system
PPAV: multi-purpose front carrier equipped with a fixed multi-function platform with or without hydraulic handling arm
PPBG: multi-purpose engineering dump carrier
PPLD: heavy multi-purpose recovery carrier
