The Buffalo, whose generic name is a MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Vehicle), is a vehicle of about 20 tons. Especially conceived to resist the mines and the ambushes, it is equipped with an articulate arm that allows him to handle and to displace the suspected objects.
This armoured has been felt by the USMC since 2003, to assure the openings of roads and tracks in Iraq and in Afghanistan. 5 Buffalo have been delivered to the French army end 2008 for a use in Afghanistan.
