The Fortress is a 14.5-ton armored combat vehicle. With its high mobility driveline, 340 hp engine, automatic gearbox and independent wheel suspension, the Fortress achieves the combination of excellent power-to-weight ratio, large payload and exceptional off-road capabilities. Its monocoque armored body offers a large volume and excellent protection against ballistic assault, mines and improvised explosive devices (IEDs), complying with the STANAG 4569. It comes in a variant troop transport and logistics, offering high protection and very high mobility. The APC version can also be converted into sanitary or command station variants. The Fortress is in service in Special Forces units.
