The FN MAG58 is a multi-purpose machine gun designed in 1957 by FN Herstal. Since 2010, this machine gun has been chosen to replace the AANF1 in the French army. This 7.62X51mm NATO machine gun is integrated into many remote-controlled turrets. In its infantry version, the MAG58 is equipped with a bipod and can also be mounted on any vehicle but also on a helicopter. The vehicle version can be equipped with an electric trigger via the turret controls. The American version of this machine gun is called FN M240 and the British version L7.
