The chassis of the tank destroyer Marder III Ausf.M will be converted by Alkett into mobile mounting for the gun of 150 mm sIG 33/1 L12.
As Marder III this vehicle had an engine assembled in the center and a compartment of combat assembled to the back.
The schwerer 15cm Infanteriegeschütz 33/1 auf Selbstfahrlafette 38(t) (SF) Ausf M, SdKfz 138/1 "Grille" was producted by Böhmisch-Mährisch.
The maximum range of shooting was 4.700 m.
